Skin Care 101 - Etude's Dr. Oil Anti-Shine Mist

by - January 30, 2012

I came by Etude last Sunday at their Market Market branch and looked for something that I can use to control that extra shine on my face.  I thought about buying oil-control films.  That's the fastest and most foolproof way.  But then...

...why not try this anti-shine mist.  :)  Dr. Oil is one of Etude's skin care and makeup collection for..well, obviously oily skin.

Mine is not that oily, actually its a bit dry.  But still, we cannot avoid those "oily moments" specially during summer.

How to use?

Option 1: Under makeup

1. Before applying any makeup, spray all over the face.

2. Wait to dry and you can start applying makeup.

Option 2: Over makeup

1. When you feel that there's a need to retouch your makeup, spray all over the face.

2. Wait to dry then, you can apply your face powder or foundation.

REMINDER: Don't spray too close/too near from face.  You might feel a slight burning sensation.

This mist basically absorbs oil but keeps your face moisturized.  Its like a primer for makeup.  Its not that super effective, I give it 3 out of 5.  For me, its best used for option 1 above.  For option 2, you can go for oil-control films.  I just love it because its a bit refreshing.

  5. Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you're working with? I'm planning to start my own blog soon but
I'm having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I'm looking
for something unique. P.S My apologies
for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
