Oxygen Ceutical Treatment and Warts Removal at Bioessence

New video is up!  #feelingaccomplished #butstilldelayed

So last month, I got invited by Bioessence to try their procedure called Oxygen Ceutical which is composed of two kinds of treatments - Caviar Protein and Intensilite.  These are their top-of-the-line facial treatments and they use only high-quality and imported products.

I didn't know that it was going to be that extensive.  I actually thought that it's a normal facial process so I got a bit overwhelmed by the whole procedure.  Haha!  I'm not complaining though.  It felt good and my skin really thanked me for the pampering experience.

We went to their Mall of Asia branch.  From Krispy Kreme, you cross the street and then take the escalator on your right.  It will take you directly to Bioessence.

We got there just in time for dinner so we grabbed a quick one at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.  My burp-guide thoughts?  It's okay, nothing special.  The meat though was soooo delicious.

After confirming my appointment, they did a skin consultation first.  There's like a device that has a blue light thing with a mirror so you can see your troubled areas.  Ms. Mitch explained the horrible things I saw.  Haha!  You know,  clogged pores, dry skin, oily zones.

At that time, they had a promo on their warts removal procedure so I was like "okay, what a perfect timing".  I had no idea that my warts were that plenty.  Ugh.  Yea, I noticed them before especially when it's too bright and I look closely.  They're definitely not pretty.

I believe the original price was 7,000 for the whole face but for my case they slashed 50% off.  If yours are more severe or if you also want to remove the ones outside the face, then the cost might go up.  Better to pay them a visit first to check.

Excuse my super oily face.

So what are warts, you asked?

Based on my little research, they are commonly caused by viruses so they don't just pop up very randomly.  If you share personal hygiene items like towels with a person who has warts, then there's a big chance that you'd get some too.

Big ones are easy to spot and yes, they can grow.  On old people, they look darker and more like map-shaped instead of appearing as tiny bumps.

I know that the way to remove them is by burning them but it was actually my first time so I didn't know if it's painful or not.

Let me now talk about the OC Treatment.

  • They used Oxygen Ceuticals products on me such as the Pore Mask and the Caviar Cream.
  • The part after the cleansing is the Oxygen Infusion thing.  It's one of my faves because it felt so cooling and refreshing.
  • During the pricking part, my milias were also extracted.  Soooo happy!  I still have a few ones though and I opted not to bother them for now because they would be 100x more painful.
  • The part where I wore a jabawockeez mask (HAHAHAH) is part of the Intensilite treatment (Photo Dynamic Therapy).  I believe they used orange light on me and each color has a specific benefit.
  • The caviar cream has anti-aging effects.
  • The last cream they applied helps firm and slim the face.  Who wants a V-shape effect?

So here's the result!

The warts removal was not painful at all.  Maybe it's because of the topical anesthesia they applied prior the burning.

Do's and don'ts after warts removal

  • Don't put on makeup within the healing period (which I clearly ignored haha!)
  • Don't use harsh skincare products within the healing period (I used the facial cleanser I bought from them)
  • Don't remove the scabs (even though it's sooo tempting)
  • Do apply the post wart and HY cream 3 times a day

They slowly disappeared after 3 to 5 days.  I was able to conceal some of them with makeup but the big ones still peeked through.

Like I said in the video, the products I got are not necessary.  I believe you can use any alternatives you have at home.  But personally, I wanted to be really careful so I just followed instructions.  Well, except the no-makeup-while-they're-healing part.  Haha!

Here are some before-and-after photos.

Spot the tiny bumps on my cheeks.

Underneath makeup, they are still noticeable up-close.

Now, my skin looks smoother.

Overall, I'm really pleased with the results.  It didn't leave any marks and I haven't seen any new ones popping up.  Hopefully, it would stay that way for a very long time!

They also gave me these samples.  Can't wait to use them!

I got a clutch too!

Last thoughts...

  • You can buy their products at any of their branches
  • The OC treatment's result will be more noticeable if you have it regularly - just like any other treatments
  • OC treatments (caviar or intensilite) cost around 5,000 php per session
  • The HY Cream, Biolite Face Cleanser and Post Wart Cream cost me 1,200 php
  • I recommend OC treatment if you have troubled skin and the regular facial doesn't work too well on you
  • You might not need it in your life but if you have spare money and you want to pamper your skin, go for that because it's top of the line treatment
Thank you again, Bioessence!!!
