LOOKBOOK - Playing Dress Up

by - November 10, 2013

Before I start talking about this outfit, let me ask everyone to continue praying for the victims of typhoon Yolanda.  I'm truly saddened watching the news and seeing the situation there.  But I believe that even the strongest storm won't break the Filipino spirit.  Have faith, stay strong and know that God is watching us.  It may seem that He's not doing something but He's there and listening to our prayers.

Anyway, I tried to play dress up with this lovely dress.  I couldn't resist grabbing everything in pink because the dress itself is fun and girly.  Even though, you know.. I have this love-hate relationship with that color.   HIHI!

The print is not too loud and very wearable.  Plus, the fabric is light and it's padded too!  No need to worry what bra to wear!  I love the overall fit and I bet it will look good with a pair of flats too.  To amplify the cuteness of this outfit, I put on these pretty floral socks.  I was so surprised how it made my heels so comfy!  I wish I could wear these anytime I want to.  But I know I will be an instant attention-grabber when I wear these in the mall.  Dare to try??  HAHA!

If this dress is too short for you, pair it with a skater skirt.  It's the perfect solution for adding length.  You must cover and protect yourself with those creepy eyes secretly watching your every move.  #YouKnowWhatIMean

From preppy to sweet and dainty.  Get two looks with one dress and a skater skirt.  What a simple and smart way to make different looks.  Try it!
